Operation Bright Lights – Volunteer Regional Coordinator

We are looking for Bright, energetic, positive people to host our 2018 Operation Bright Lights Annual candlelight vigil in their perspective areas.  This event is a nationwide simultaneous event that happens on New Years Eve every year.  We light a candle for all those who will not make it into the new year with us.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Securing Venue Location (i.e. St. Louis Arch)

Organizing your event on social medial

Creating Press release with local media and/or news paper

Inviting constituents; businessmen, congressmen, mayor, senators, etc to speak

Recruiting Participants; those who have lost loved one recently to speak

Invite people to join M.E.N.T.O.R.S., Inc. (MENTORS & Participants)

Manage branding at event (Tshirts, Banner, flyers, business cards, etc) 

Create visual effect with candle Lighting Event.

Film Event to be included in National PSA Announcement

This is a great college student volunteer position and could bring awareness to a needy cause. We are trying to put an end to violence in our communities. We are bringing awareness to the plight of the community by joining together to show the impact of ONE LIGHT:ONE LIFE.  These candlelight vigils are vessels to bring together hurt people who may think about hurting other people. We must put an end to the violence. Join us to help us make our communities safer; impacting one life at a time.
